General Description

The TTM 57SL combines the best Rane and Serato have to offer in a single, high performance mixer. Finally a mixer that fully integrates mixer hardware, software and software controls in one powerful package. The TTM 57SL combines all the performance and features of the Rane TTM 56 with Serato Scratch LIVE software. We didn't stop there -- we also included internal effects with six stereo insert points.

Mixer Road Case

This rugged case fits any of the Empath models, the TTM 56 or the TTM 57SL. The lid has a heavy-duty hinge. It has a compartment underneath the mixer for extra items such as headphones, cables, etc. It also works as a nice big insulated lunchbox! 

The case measures 9.25" x 12" x 16" (23.5 x 30.5 x 40.5 cm). Shipping weight is 13 pounds (6 kg).

New Vinyl

  • Black vinyl comes with the TTM 57SL, but we all know vinyl wears out with use. US customers can purchase new second edition vinyl from your dealer, or at the Rane Online Store. People in other countries should contact their distributor.

Control CD Download

  • US customers can purchase a pair of new control CDs from your dealer, or at the Rane Online Store. People in other countries should ask their distributor.
  • You can burn your own control CD if you have a burner and the right software after downloading the big control file (132MB). Scratchlivecontrol.zip requires an unzip utility to open, and includes two files. Scratchlivecontrol.wav is a stereo 44.1 file that you can drop into any burner application -- however, the track select portion at the end of the audio file reqires a special start time on a second track to function correctly. If you have Sony CD Architect™, you can load the scratchlivecontrol.cdp file and it will incorporate the correct second track timing. When using any other application, do not adjust the levels, make sure no auto-levelling is turned on, don't downsample or try another format, or the control signal won't function.

rec 57TTM 57SL Record Utility Download version 1.1

This utility helps set your TTM 57SL recording settings when using the 57 as a sound card.

Windows Version

There are two installers. The full install complete with Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (huge download) and an "application only" installer for users who already have the framework installed (small download).

Determine if you already have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0:
Start menu -> Control panel -> Add or Remove Programs.
If Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is listed then download the app-only version. If it is not, download the full version.

To Install:
Unzip the file to your desktop (or known location) and run setup.exe.

To Run:
Start menu -> All Programs -> Rane Corporation -> TTM 57SL Record Utility

Macintosh Version

Requirements: 10.4 or higher

To Install:
Double-click the .dmg file, double-click the package file.

To Run:
Applications -> Rane Corporation -> TTM 57SL Record Utility
