Royal Carribean's Monarch of the Seas

Clair Brothers Systems of Lititz, Pennsylvania, designed and installed audio systems on Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas cruise ship.

Clair Brothers's system serves the pool deck area of the ship, providing distribution and processing for four stereo loudspeaker pairs (Clair Brothers R2DP speakers).

The system utilizes a Rane RPM 26z Programmable Multiprocessor and an ME 15B microGraphic Equalizer, along with an older multiprocessor model, Rane's RPM 26v. Clair Brothers' Jan Luszczek writes, "Rane's Drag Net products give us the ability to change a design, even after the gear has been installed. The changing needs of our customers can be satisfied in many cases without adding costly hardware or having to rewire a rack of equipment."

Stuart Stein, Technician & Installer for Clair Brothers: "Rane's RPM 26z Programmable Multiprocessor is a piece of cake to set up. It sounds even better than their older workhorse, the RPM 26v."
